May 17-19, 2010 in Berlin after WOSonOS – for people from the whole world, going universal.
Look at differences and varieties. Leader likely to be Yaari Pannwitz (Berlin) and Anna (St Petersburg).

Catching the spirit may only be possible by “osmosis” – but maybe more can be done.

Option to use meditation as a program presence – then using reflection on this in the last day.

3 days used sometimes (BP, LP, MP, LH). Bi-lingual now used in Canada. BUT coaching seems to be being used more now than workshop training – for people about to open space. Works very well because people seem “ready” for it. Workshop mode generally has less effect.

Don’t know numbers of participants or of those who have applied the method.

GW uses a “LEARNING WORKSHOP” approach. Gives out the same manual as used in a workshop, but doesn’t use it. Pre-work matters – getting “them” to determine the theme to be used in the session. Then drawing a picture of when they first experienced Open Space. But Spirit only comes – it seems – when they experience a real-life Open Space. The SFO experience of doing a workshop and then being participant in the WOSonOS made more sense than expected. It is brilliant in actually “catching the spirit”.

BP/LH – the delicacy is tat there is not a “real issue” in the learning workshop.

Coaching seems to work much better than workshops in terms of numbers.

Some events have emerged for the “Trainer” as a result of the Training program.

Nurturing the Open Space community is one of the goals of any training or workshop or learning.

Some talk about the different ways used in various countries.

“Wave Rider” (Harrison Owen helps a bit to widen the sense of what OS is in our world activity.

Word “facilitator” has lots of different meanings. May no matter much.

Training/Workshop is seen rather as a learning process than a training.

OS used as a review of OS Training is exactly what the Berlin event will try to be.

We speak from or “being” in these events.
